For nearly seven generations the Geyer brand has been a valued member of the building industry. From land development and construction projects throughout Southern California, to our family owned Lumber and Millwork business. The Geyer family has a long history.
Today, the tradition continues, John Geyer, CEO of Geyer Development is hard at work developing new custom residential projects and building beautiful custom homes bringing generations of experience and integrity to every build.

WHY CHOOSE GEYER DEVELOPMENT?
Building a custom home is a big deal and the experience can be stressful if you don’t choose the right builder. Most of our customers have never built a custom home and don’t know what to expect. Working with someone you trust makes the process more enjoyable and ensures you get the desired result. We take the time to listen to your needs and understand your expectations.
Bigger isn’t always better
Many of the big, high-profile builders in Orange County have built dozens of homes and are typically busy with several projects in production at the same time. This makes it difficult for them to focus their attention on the details of your home that matter to you. We only take on one or two projects at a time and work exclusively in the Newport Beach and Costa Mesa area, which allows us to be much more responsive and spend more time at your project.
We take a hands-on approach to every project
Most builders sub-contract out the majority of the construction process and heavily rely on them to self-manage and control quality. Ever heard the saying “A little caulk and paint makes a job what it ain’t?”. We prefer to say, “People do what you Inspect not what you Expect”. We’re on site every day at our projects looking over each trade being performed and confirming they are following the plans to the letter. This prevents costly and time consuming delays having to do things over after they were not done according to plan or fail to meet our standards.
